PositionTerritory: This position is part of the Midwest Region. The
person selected will provide primary coverage for Indianapolis and
Southern IN.Location: This is a remote, field based position.
Preference for the person selected to reside in Indianapolis, or
within 50 miles of the metro area. Will give consideration to those
living in the territory.Travel Requirements: This position has up
to 50% travel requirements. In addition, 10-20% overnight travel
and may include some weekend, holiday and on-call working hours as

OpportunityThe Roche Support Network is dedicated to providing
exceptional support to customers. As a Field Engineering
Specialist:
- You will travel to customer sites and showcase your expertise
in technical repair and installation for Roche assigned product
lines.
- You will offer valuable service to laboratory customers in your
assigned territory.
- You will provide routine technical support, on-site service,
repair, and installation of Roche products.
- You will serve as a customer contact for technical and
service-related issues and perform preventative maintenance.
- You will diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software,
and system failures.
- You will document all activities, contribute to quality
improvement, and focus on maximizing customer satisfaction.Who You
AreRequired Qualifications
- High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or
equivalent military training or work experience
- 5 years of progressive experience in repairing or servicing
mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless
networking is necessary, OR a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical
Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering,
Chemistry, or related field, plus 1-2 years of progressive
experience repairing or servicing complex mechanical, or system
hardware and software, or networking, or wireless networking.
- Successful completion of training or certification as defined
by RD Services Leadership and policy.
- Ability to travel, including overnight travel, is a requirement
for this role.Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive experience, OR a Bachelor's degree in a
relevant field plus 4+ years of progressive experience
- Advanced knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems,
and information technology
- Ability to serve as an internal technical resource that can
train and mentor other FES in the region.
- Provide support after hours and on weekends and holidays as
required
- Possess strong customer service skills to ensure positive
