Job Description:
A company is looking for an Outpatient Facility Auditor -
National Remote.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform medical record audits for CPT and ICD-10-CM codes and
billing errors
Review outpatient hospital medical records to ensure coding and
billing accuracy
Create audit summary documentation and enter results into the Claim
Reviewer system
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED
One of the following coding certifications: CPC, COC, CCS, or
CCS-P
2+ years of experience in medical code auditing in an outpatient
facility
Advanced knowledge in CPT/HCPCS coding and NCCI edit review
Proficient in PC Windows environment
