Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Long-term Acute Care/Telemetry Job Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:30 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years recent experience in Telemetry/LTAC in a hospital setting License: Must have Indiana or multi-state compact RN license Certifications: ACLS & BLS certifications, valid through the American Heart Association Must-Have: - Ventilator/tracheostomy experience - Strong critical thinking skills - Ability to delegate patient care effectively Job Description: - Hold shift accountability for the delivery of patient care using the Nursing Process in line with state regulations and hospital policies. - Exhibit critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe care. - Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training. - Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff. - Provide direction and supervision to personnel assigned to patient care duties.
