Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Long-Term Acute Care/Telemetry Job Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:30 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Telemetry/Long-Term Acute Care in a hospital setting License: Indiana or multi-state compact RN license Certifications: ACLS & BLS (Must be through the American Heart Association) Must-Have: - Ventilator/tracheostomy experience - At least 1 year of overall experience Job Description: - Hold accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. - Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning for safe delivery of care. - Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education. - Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff. - Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
