Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Job Duration: 9 months Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 18 months required License: Compact or relevant state license, depending on start date requirements Certifications: Refer to job description for specific requirements Must-Have: COVID-19 vaccine required with exceptions for medical or religious reasons Job Description: - Accepts first-time travelers for the position. - Shift requirements are strictly 3x12-hour shifts. - Weekend work required every other week; consecutive weekends may be needed based on operational needs. - Charge nurse responsibilities may be necessary with provided training and resources. - Floating to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) may be required with resources provided. - Staffing ratios are set at 1:4. - Background policy to be noted prior to any offers. - Completion of non-billable modules required before the start. - Orientation hours are 12 non-billable hours. - Participants must work two out of three major holidays. - Observance of local rules for travelers concerning float requirements.
