Job Description:
A company is looking for a Linguist II to provide linguistic
expertise and manage data-based model improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Provide linguistic expertise in phonetics, phonology, lexicography,
dialectology, and NLP
Design and conduct experiments for evaluating transcription quality
and develop processes for multiple projects
Analyze system metrics and manage lexical and phrasal
transcriptions and related metadata
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in linguistics, language
technologies, computational linguistics, speech science, or a
related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field
Strong understanding of phonetics and phonology
Proficiency with transcription and annotation systems such as
SAMPA, IPA, and ToBI
Familiarity with NLP concepts and techniques
