Job Description:
A company is looking for a Life Insurance Underwriter to support
the Underwriting Department by delivering customized solutions to
clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to the overall success and profitability of the
agency
Collaborate with various teams to develop action plans for
underwriting challenges and present case files to carriers
Consult with advisors and negotiate with carriers regarding
underwriting offers and case processing
Required Qualifications:
Preferred Bachelor's degree; HS Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 5 years of life insurance experience
Having or pursuing insurance industry designations such as FALU and
FLMI
Skilled in using underwriting tools and software
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
