Job Description:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Will support the Informational Reporting team by providing
research on regulatory questions and issues raised by the team in
support of all areas of the bank.
-Coordinate the technical research of taxation issues under the
direction of the Director of Information Reporting.
-Manages the implementation of tax planning initiatives and
provides post implementation
follow-up to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of the planning
strategy.
-Provides ongoing consultation and support for information
reporting issues and procedural changes to legal entities and
Information Reporting team.
-Tax representative in various bank planning and revenue
initiatives that affect legal entity
structure.
-Generate tax savings ideas, which add value to the
organization.
-Must have an excellent understanding of IRS and state resources
such as forms instructions, published guidance, private letter
ruling, notices and other published documentation.
