Job Description:

GENERAL FUNCTION: The Professional Practices Group (PPG) Senior position will be responsible for executing key Audit Division administrative and infrastructure-related processes. The PPG Senior will report administratively to the PPG Group Audit Manager and will assist the PPG Group Audit Manager in the successful execution of PPG processes and initiatives and the overall management of the PPG.




ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Audit/Regulatory Issues Management Process:


o Assist with the oversight of all aspects of the BancorpÆs audit/regulatory issues management process.


o Oversee and supervise the accurate input and on-going data integrity of issues-related information.


o Facilitate the generation of high-quality, accurate deliverables/reports within established timeframes, including reports generated for Audit Division personnel, Bancorp personnel, regulatory examiners, external auditors and the Audit Committee.


o Serve as a key liaison with customers, including Audit Division personnel, Bancorp personnel, regulatory examiners, and external auditors, on audit/regulatory issues management activities.


* Resource Scheduling Process:


o Assist with the management of all aspects of the Audit DivisionÆs resource scheduling process, including coordination with Audit Division management.


o Oversee and supervise the accurate input and on-going data integrity of resource scheduling-related information.


o Facilitate the generation of high-quality, accurate deliverables/reports within established timeframes, including reports related to resource utilization and availability.


* Internal Management/External Customer Reporting:


o Facilitate the generation of accurate, high-quality internal management and external customer reporting within established timeframes including, but not limited to, performance measures, audit report status, etc.


o Assist in the coordination of the periodic Audit Committee meeting materials preparation process with Audit Division management.


* Internal Quality Assurance Process:


o Assist with the performance of periodic internal quality assurance review (QAR) procedures of key Audit Division activities including, but not limited to, workpaper documentation, issues follow-up, TeamMate finalization, etc.


o Summarize and communicate results to Audit Division management.


o Identify opportunities to reinforce existing standards and communicate to Audit Division personnel.


* Annual Risk Assessment/Audit Plan Development Process:


o Assist with the execution of all aspects of the Audit DivisionÆs annual risk assessment and audit plan development process.


o Facilitate the generation of high-quality, accurate deliverables/reports, including Audit Committee-related reporting, within established timeframes.


o Serve as key liaison with Audit Division management throughout the process.


o Facilitate the timely processing of plan changes.


* Departmental Technology:


o Serve as a subject matter expert and primary point-of-contact with Bancorp IT on key systems utilized by the Audit Division, including the TeamMate and Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) software applications.


o Facilitate the identification, planning and implementation of process improvement opportunities associated with departmental technology tools.


* Process Improvement/Special Projects:


o Strive to identify opportunities for continuous improvement to existing processes and coordinate the ultimate implementation of these improvements.


o Assist the PPG Group Audit Manager and other Audit Division leaders in the timely completion of special projects and ad-hoc requests.




SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for providing Professional Practices Group employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback and provide challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth and develop the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength.
