Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Job Duration: 9 months Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 18 months of experience required License: Must have an active license or have started the licensing process Certifications: Requirements vary by unit Must-Have: - 2 supervisor references - COVID-19 vaccine required (medical or religious exemptions accepted with documentation) - Not accepting locals for specified units - Candidates must be willing to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliates Job Description: - Charge nurse responsibilities may be required, with training and resources provided - Expected to work every other weekend; consecutive weekends may be needed based on operational needs - Floating to different levels of care, such as Med-Surg, PCU, and ICU, with resources provided if needed - Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays - Orientation includes 12 hours of training - Completion of pre-start modules, totaling 8-16 hours, which are non-billable - First-time travelers are accepted - Travelers are allowed 5 days of non-holiday requested time off without special approval; anything additional requires facility approval Please apply if you meet these requirements and are looking for a rewarding opportunity in a dynamic healthcare environment.
